Google Classroom User Instructions for Students
Google Classroom is a virtual classroom that ties many of Google’s products together to help educational institutions go to a paperless system. Assignment creation and distribution is accomplished through Google Drive. Gmail is used to provide classroom communication.
Teachers can add students directly from the Google Apps directory or can provide a class code that can be entered for access to the class by students. Students can submit work assigned in a Google Classroom online. They can also leave comments to clarify assignment related issues.
1)Sign in to Classroom

Or alternatively, if you are already in either Gmail or Google Drive
2) Join a Class
Your faculty can send an email inviting you to join a class. Or, they might give you the class code, which you will use to add yourself to the class.

You only enter the class code once to join the class. You don’t need to re-enter the class code again. Whenever you want to sign in to Classroom to get to a class or any assignments, use your Google Apps for Education account details.
If your faculty included a class overview, you can review it by clicking About at the top of the class stream.
3)Work on an Assignment
You can see your assignments in the Classroom and work on them.

Note: If you have not completed your assignment, simply close the assignment window tab and reopen it the next time to continue with your assignment.
4) Submit Assignment
Once you have completed your assignment, you can turn in or submit your assignments in the following way:
If your assignment Google Doc is open, then click the Turn In at the top right corner of the Google Doc window or alternatively close your Google Doc and click Turn In on your assignment window. Your assignment will be indicated with a Done status.
